Private Day Trips from Šibenik
Krka National Park & Plitvice Lakes, from €100 per car
Croatia's Two Best National Parks, Your Own Private Ride
Want to see Krka waterfalls or the Plitvice Lakes without a coach full of strangers and a fixed schedule? I am Antonio, a local Šibenik driver, and I run private day trips to both parks as simple round-trip transfers. I pick you up at your door, drive you there in a comfortable Škoda Superb, give you free time to explore at your own pace, then bring you straight back. No shared groups, no guide talking over your day, no early-morning meeting point across town. Just the car, a local driver and a fixed price agreed before you set off. Pick your park and your pickup town below.
These are private taxi transfers, not group tours. Every trip has its own page with the full route, pickup points, timings and price.
Krka National Park Day Trips
The Skradinski Buk waterfalls, boardwalks and Visovac island, around 3 to 4 hours of free time inside the park. Fixed price per car, up to 4 passengers. Open a trip for full pickup details and booking.
Krka pickups from Vodice cover Srima and Tribunj, and Primošten pickups cover the Zečevo area and Rogoznica, at the same fixed price.
Waterfalls Half an Hour from the Coast
Krka is the closest national park to Šibenik and the easiest half-day or full-day escape on this coast. The famous Skradinski Buk cascade, the Roški Slap falls, the monastery on Visovac island and kilometres of wooden boardwalks over clear green water are all inside. In summer you can swim near the falls, and the Skradin boat approach is a highlight in itself.
Because it is so close, a Krka day trip leaves plenty of the day free. I drop you at the Skradin or Lozovac entrance, you explore for three to four hours, and I have you back at your hotel, apartment or ship by early afternoon.
Plitvice Lakes Day Trips
Sixteen terraced lakes, waterfalls and forest boardwalks, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A long, unforgettable full day out. Fixed price per car, up to 4 passengers.
Plitvice is around two hours from Šibenik each way, so it makes a full 9 to 12 hour day. An early start is essential.
The Lakes Worth the Early Start
Plitvice Lakes National Park is the most famous natural wonder in Croatia: sixteen turquoise lakes tumbling into one another over travertine barriers, linked by wooden walkways and framed by dense forest. A panoramic electric boat and a road train carry you between the upper and lower lakes, both included with your park ticket.
It is further inland than Krka, so the day is longer, but going private means no dawn coach pickup and no rush. I collect you when it suits you, drive you straight there, and wait while you walk the lakes for as long as you like.
